Are you there?

Are you there...?
...Looks like you're listening after all. That's good.
In that case, I'd like to show you something very special.
If you're following me on itch.io, you probably found me through my work on the old OFF Remake music/sfx mod I did, and more recently my collaboration with Ferase on their project which restores music for the full game. I handled the restoration of old SFX for this project, and it was a lot of fun to work on.
But that's not why we're here today, is it?
This is PROJECT: NDE, a passion project I first started in the far-off year of 2019. This is my first *real* game, and it served as my introduction to game development. As I've worked on it, my skills have gotten better and better, and now I'm ready to share what I've been working towards.
However... This isn't the finished game. Learning how to make games through a project comes with the unfortunate cost of design debt. I spent a lot, and I mean A LOT of time rebuilding this game from the ground up since 2023.
Now, let's look to the present.
What I have for you now is Parts 1-2 of the game, which contains about 50 to 60 percent of the full game's content. I should note that this is NOT an episodic release. Think of it more like... a very large play-test. Should you try it, I'd wager it'll take most players 7 to 9 hours to complete. More experienced players might get through quicker than that.
For the uninitiated, I think there's a lot to unpack in what's present in this build. I hope you'll take the time to explore and experiment.
If you do see it through to the end, I'd appreciate if you left me a comment on the game page. Tell me what you liked, what you didn't like... Anything, really. If you DO enjoy it, tell your friends about it! Tell a let's-player! Tell your weird neighbor!
As for Part 3 and beyond...
We'll see each other again soon enough.
Until then... See to it that you do not fail.
